Mark Walsh
CEO & Founder
Mark has extensive experience in all sectors of the renewable energy industry with a particular focus on Solar PV. He has consulted on 85MWp solar projects for South African financial institutions and international developers. As MD of ARTSolar he set up a 125MW state of the art Solar PV module manufacturing plant. He is the Head of the Solar Division for Axiz Pty, part of JSE listed Alviva Holdings.
Ricky Knox
Chairman & Founder
Ricky is a serial entrepreneur and investor, having built five technology disruptors in fintech and telecoms, each of which also does a bit of good for the world.
He built Tandem Bank and previously disrupted remittances with Azimo (Greycroft, Rakuten) and Small World (the 6th largest remitter in the world) and Mobile Telecoms with GMS Systems.
Ed Southey
CCO & Founder
Ed has been involved in financial markets for 20 years primarily as an Institutional equity stockbroker. He is currently Head of Portfolio Management for Standard Bank private client stockbroking. He previously headed up the South African institutional sales teams for Macquarie Securities and Renaissance Capital where his interest in the renewable energy revolution and trading renewable energy certificates trading was ignited.
Gavin Erasmus
Founder
Gavin beings 15 years of international experience delivering global, multi-million-pound, board-level business and IT initiatives at FTSE100 clients with 5 years of Fintech and Sustain-tech startup, digital, and blockchain experience. He was CTO & co-founder of SheepInc – the world’s first carbon-negative fashion brand – where he led sustainable initiatives and developed an award-winning supply chain transparency platform to trace wool from farm to sweater.
